We do this by stimulating collaboration between more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentenvoormorgen.nl\/en\/member-organisations\/\">40 member organizations<\/a>, organizing various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentenvoormorgen.nl\/en\/projects\/\">projects<\/a> and making our voice heard in discussions around the topics of sustainability and education at local, national and international levels. In addition, we often work together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentenvoormorgen.nl\/en\/partners\/\">other organizations<\/a> that are committed to making education and student life more sustainable. To systematically change higher education for current and future generations.<\/p><p>With this, Studenten voor Morgen contributes to achieving 3 Sustainable Development Goals:<\/p><ul><li>SDG 4: Quality education,<\/li><li>SDG 13: Climate action and<\/li><li>SDG 17: Partnership to achieve goals.<\/li><\/ul><p>The daily board of Studenten voor Morgen consists of 6 enthusiastic students. This board changes every year on 1 July and is responsible for everything that happens within SvM. A lot has now been achieved. The organization has changed a number of times, and so has the way of working. Studenten voor Morgen was founded in 1993 by student environmental organizations from different cities. The association was called LHUMP. From 1994 to 1997 it was the student department of Jongeren Milieu Actief (JMA). In 1997 LHUMP became an independent organization, an official association with local environmental platforms as members. In 1998, the Sustainable Higher Education (DHO) network arose from the LHUMP, which later grew into a professional organization. On November 27, 2008, the organization changed its name to Morgen and later this was changed to Studenten voor Morgen.<\/p><p>In the early years, LHUMP&#8217;s focus was mainly on the realization of the Copernicus charter in universities and colleges. The number of local environmental platforms grew steadily and from 1998 LHUMP focused mainly on the networking function for the student groups. The DHO Foundation took on the tasks related to the implementation of the Copernicus charter. In 2010, the DHO foundation was dissolved due to a lack of financial support. Studenten voor Morgen subsequently positioned itself in a dual role: on the one hand as a network organization for its member organizations that are involved in sustainability on a local scale, and on the other as a national project organization that focuses on making higher education more sustainable.<\/p><p>In recent years, Studenten voor Morgen has carried out a number of successful projects. Examples include Share Your World (annual information market for voluntary work in developing countries, 2003-2010), Greening the Ivory Tower (congress on making higher education more sustainable, 2008), Make IT Fair (project sustainable IT, 2008), the Sustainable Internship Bank ( 2008-2009), the Green Soap Bubble (price for greenwashing, 2009-2010), the Sustainable Discount Card (2010-2012) and the Manifesto of Tomorrow (2012). From 2014, the Sustainable Introduction Time will also be organized by Studenten voor Morgen and Studenten voor Morgen will be organizing the annual Sustainability Career Event together with SustainableMotion. A highlight in 2014 was the signing of the Treaty on Sustainability in Education with politicians.<\/p><p>Currently, Studenten voor Morgen is carrying out several ongoing projects such as: the SustainaBul, the sustainability ranking for higher education institutions and the online magazine DuurzameStudent, with articles about sustainability written by and for students. The SustainaBul was first organized in 2012; Duurzame Student has been on the air since 2008. In 2022, the website DuurzaamStudies.nl was launched, which provides an overview of all courses related to sustainability in the Netherlands.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
