The Sustainable Introduction Stunt (in Dutch: Duurzame Introductie Stunt, DIS) is a competition among student organisations from multiple cities to organise the most sustainable introduction stunt. The aim of this competition is to raise awareness for sustainability among starting students. A good moment to reach this group, is at the start of the academic year: the introduction period. As these introduction periods are full of activities, where sustainability can easily be incorporated, we challenge all study- and student associations to participate in the DIS 2014!
The DIS has been organised before twice: in 2012 and 2013, the organisation was done by campaign organisation EEN. From 2014 on, Studenten voor Morgen will take the lead in the organisation. The number of participating associations was 14 in 2013, and Morgen aims for 20 in 2014.
All participating associations upload photos / videos of their sustainable introduction stunt to the special facebook-page. A jury will then decide which stunt was the most effective, the most playful and the most populair. For inspiration, see last years Facebook-page.
What can be won?
Most effective stunt: 1000 euro
Which is the stunt that has the largest positive value regarding sustainability on people and/or the environment? What makes the world a little better…?
Most playful stunt: 750 euro
Which is the most playful, creative, newsworthy stunt?
Most populair stunt: 500 euro
Which is the stunt that receives most attention on Twitter, facebook and/or other media?
